  • Q: When is your auction?
  • A: Our auction is every other Wednesday at 6:00pm SHARP! This is a LIVE auction with open bidding that is fun and profitable for the whole family. You'll always find our next auction date on our home page.

  • Q: Where do you get your cars from?
  • A: Just like the dealer auctions, these vehicles are bank repossessions, dealer overstock, individual consignments and charity donated vehicles that are here for immediate liquidation.

  • Q: How much do your cars sell for?
  • A: You pay the same prices that the dealers pay at their “dealer only” auctions. We typically auction 80 – 150 items every week.

  • Q: How long does the auction usually last?
  • A: The auctions usually run about an hour to an hour and a half.

  • Q: How do I know what is going to be sold at your next auction?
  • A: A free list of the vehicles is available. We do not have a mailing list, however, as our lists are not completed until the afternoon of the auction or if you have access to a fax machine, you may call us at 801-225-8258 with your fax number and we will gladly fax you a list.

  • Q: Can we look at the cars before the auction?   
  • A: All vehicles being auctioned are available for inspection on Wednesday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.

·        Q: Do you do financing?

  • A: We do not do any financing. Need to get a loan? We will give you a free purchase agreement to take to your bank or credit union for pre-approval!

·        Q: How long do I have to pay the balance of my purchase?

  • A: You have until Friday at 6:00 pm to pay the balance, giving you time to get financing in order if necessary.

      ·        Q: Can you sell my car?

  • A: Yes! We charge a $35.00 registration fee to run a car through the auction and then an additional $10.00 per week. If it sells we deduct and additional sales fee from the sales price. That fee varies depending on the sales price. (See the chart below) All cars must be consigned by 3:00 pm Wednesday afternoon.

      ·        Q: How many people are usually at the auction?

  • A: Our bidder turnout is usually between 75 – 150 bidders per auction.

  • Q: Is there a fee to participate in the auction?
  • A: Only if you have won a bid. A $500.00 cash or debit deposit is required with any winning bid. If you buy a car, we charge a buyers fee based on the purchase price. If you don’t buy anything it doesn’t cost you anything! Here is a chart of the buyers fees:

If you are new to eBay, we do request that you contact us by email or phone at the time of your bidding to establish you have read and understand our terms.

·        Our role in vehicle liquidation is to do it fast, accurately and professionally. Because our cars are on consignment, we have very limited amount of information on a vehicle regarding, but not limited to history, maintenance records, prior owners etc. We try to represent the vehicles to the best of our ability.

·        Vehicles 10 years old or older are EXEMPT from federal odometer laws and are therefore sold as miles EXEMPT. Usually this is because the vehicle has only a 5 digit odometer and miles cannot be verified.

·        Upon winning an auction a $500 deposit is due within 1business day of the auction closing via paypal or bank wire transfer. Call our office at 801-225-8258 to completed the details.

·        Full payment is due within 5 business days via bank wire transfer or cash in person. We are located at Auto Auction of Utah 1157 No. State Street Orem, UT 84057. Call our office at 801-225-8258 for wiring instructions.

·        If you choose to fly in and pick up your vehicle, Salt Lake City International Airport is approximately 40 miles North of our offices. There is a shuttle transportation company (Express Shuttle) that can pick you up at the airport and bring you straight to our door!

·        We only auction items on eBay that seem to be mechanically sound. However, we are limited in our knowledge of their condition. We are confident they will offer you good service unless otherwise noted. However, this is an auction so be aware that all items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS.

·        We do not auction rebuilt, restored or salvaged vehicles unless it is specifically and clearly stated.

·        We are a licensed and bonded dealer in the state of Utah.
